Philstar the founder of WKF has recently returned from a potential career ending cruciate ligament injury, but that doesn't stop him from being probably the most committed player on the pitch.

Phil started the WeKissFootball revolution just under a year ago, with some close friends entering the Redditch Sunday Leisure League competition. Having starred for other teams in this league, he was keen to run a side where he could pick and choose his own team mates, most have which have only been seen playing together in a game of Wembley in his Samba Goals. A football, fanatic, Phil was nicknamed ikissfootball, following an advertising campaign by adidas®, and so the name We Kiss Football seemed an obvious choice. He has been keen to make sure we look the part, somehow convincing the players to part with their hard earn dollars investing in two kits (as well as names, numbers and badges). He also has a creative eye, designing our badge, based on one of the world's most recognisable album covers, The Rolling Stones 'Forty Licks.'

For the 5 a side team, Phil has delegated the management position over to Woody. During 2011 Phil returned to a playing role and started gathering momentum scoring a hatful of goals during the Div 2 campaign. Injury kept him out for the latter half of the season.
